CENTAURS OF ATTENTION

The all female 'Centaurs of Attention' were founded in 2016 and made their inaugural appearance at the Edinburgh Fringe in the same year, where their conspicuous lime green dungarees attracted the attention of the crowds on The Royal Mile and beyond.

 

The Centaurs first show was a modern re-working of Artistophanes' 'The Frogs,'  with Dionysus as a sort of underworld Simon Cowell overseeing 'Hades Has Talent' a competition between Euripides and Aeschylus to decide which of them gets the opportunity to travel back to save popular culture from its love affair with 'mediocrity and banality' and bring their careers back from the dead.

 

Featuring original live music, this 'energetic, slightly anarchic and funny' play was awarded 4 stars by Broadway Baby.
